Clara Fermor-Dunman

Clara is a dynamic physiotherapist with over 10 years of both musculoskeletal and sports injury physiotherapy experience.

She qualified with a 1st class honours degree from Brunel University and since then has worked as a senior practitioner within both the NHS and private sector. For 7 years Clara worked within a number of large London teaching hospitals including Kings College Hospital and The Royal London Hospital, before working as a team leader for Crystal Palace Sports Injury Clinic.

Working as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist involves assessing and treating a vast range of both acute and chronic conditions. These conditions include the joints and soft tissue of the spine and peripheral joints in people of all ages. Clara utilises advanced assessment and treatment techniques that she has developed through extensive post graduate training, whilst working towards her membership to the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. In light of this Clara is able to not only provide a thorough assessment and diagnosis, but also utilise a variety of treatments, which suit the individual and enable a fast and effective recovery and rehabilitation process.

In addition to the above another huge part of Clara’s experience involves the management of sporting injuries within both elite and amateur developing or mature athletes. Clara has worked alongside top orthopaedic consultants, radiologists and podiatrists to ensure a holistic management approach to both injury prevention and recovery. Clara is now lecturing on injury prevention in schools in the hope of empowering the developing athletes to not only improve performance, but also reduce risk of injuries in every way possible.

Clara’s advanced skills makes her a highly specialised physiotherapists that focuses on the patient to help them to achieve their goals with a pain free body.
